Join our dynamic team as an Emergency Department Physician at the Augusta VA Hospital in Augusta, VA. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within the government Veteran Health System, providing high-quality care to our veterans.

Job Description

• Will accept Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians with 2+ years of ER experience
• Work schedule: 7a - 5p / 11a - 9p / 3p - 1a / 10p - 8a, two weeks on, two weeks off
• Non-trauma center; trauma patient transfers will be sent to local hospitals
• Staffed with 2 MDs each shift except for at night, also 1 PA/NP

Requirements

• Current CV with all gaps explained (within the last 6 months)
• Names/numbers of 3 references
• U.S. Citizenship required or Green Card Holder
• Must have worked within the last 6 months
• Board Certification Requirements: Certified or Eligible
• Required health documentation: MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tetanus (Td), PPD, Flu
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS & ATLS
• Fingerprints/background check
