Join our team at the Pittsburgh VA Hospital, a government facility within the Veterans Affairs Health System. This position offers a structured work schedule and the opportunity to serve our veterans.

Job Description

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Patient census of 10-12 per day

Requirements

• Current CV with all gaps explained (within the last 6 months)
• Names and contact details of 3 professional references
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder (Federal Requirement)
• Must have worked within the last 6 months
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Pathology
• Any State Medical License Accepted

Benefits

• W2 Option: $310K per year with benefits
• 1099 Option: $210 per hour
• No holiday pay or overtime rates

Privileging Details

• Timeline: 6 weeks
• Required health documentation: MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tetanus (Td), PPD, Flu
• Fingerprinting and background check required

Required Certifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Pathology
• BLS and ACLS required
