Join our dynamic team as a CRNA. This position offers a full-time schedule with the opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Job Description
- Support staff includes CRNAs, Anesthesia Tech, and Anesthesiologists, with a general ratio of 1:2 anesthesiologists to 1 CRNA and 1 resident, which can be up to 1:4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity cases. CRNAs are medically directed, typically 2-1 or 3-1. The attending usually has a resident in the other room, focusing on that room and teaching.
- Coverage needed is full-time, 4 x 10/week for 6 months.
- Patients per day can vary from 1-9.
- Patient population includes all age spans (no Neonatal).
- CRNAs will cover Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, and Neuro (No Heart).
- EMR system preferred is EPIC.
- All providers will be required to work NORA.
- Skills required include intubation, central line, arterial line, and line placement. Blocks are not likely needed, and no OB experience is required.
Requirements
- Board Certification: NBCRNA
- State license required: Yes, State of KY open to licensing
- Minimum experience required: 1 year experience (no new grads)
- Must have recent experience in a large medical center setting
- Level 1 trauma experience required
Benefits
- Holiday pay at 1.5 times the normal rate for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Credentialing Timeframe
Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days.
