Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, seeks a highly productive, driven, forward-thinking Infectious Disease physician to join our expanding practice as a clinical educator at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. The Infectious Diseases Division at Prisma Health-Midlands is one of the largest academic ID divisions in the Southeast. The division receives extramural funding from several state and federal agencies for clinical, educational, and research projects. Clinical responsibilities include providing inpatient and ambulatory ID consultations as well as HIV and hepatitis C care at the Immunology Clinic and South Carolina Department of Corrections Broad River Correctional Institution/Kirkland facility. Educational opportunities involve teaching and supervision of medical students, Internal Medicine residents, and ID fellows and supporting multidisciplinary interprofessional education. Participation in clinical research projects impacting quality and delivery of patient care is highly encouraged.
Job Description
- Provide inpatient and ambulatory ID consultations

Requirements
- Board Certification in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine
- Strong interest in teaching Infectious Diseases fellows, Internal Medicine residents, and medical students
