Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Schedule

• Monday to Friday only (no weekends, no call)

• Full-time, 40 hours/week

• Shifts vary between 8 to 10 hours (some shorter), depending on case load; must be flexible

Job Details

• Coverage need: Full-time

• Practice type: Independent

• Daily case volume: 60 cases at one facility, 20 at the other

• Patient population: Ranges from healthy children to adults

• Required skills: General Anesthesia Bread & Butter cases (ENT, Ortho, Urology, General Surgery, etc.)

  • No open heart, thoracic, vascular, or transplant cases

• Lines:

  • Arterial lines: Occasionally

  • Central lines and nerve blocks: Handled by full-time staff (not locums)

• Hospital sizes: 43 beds and 88 beds

• EMR system: Cerner

Requirements

• Board certification: NBCRNA required

• Experience: Minimum 1 year; no new grads

• Licensure: Must hold or be willing to obtain state license (licensing assistance available for qualified candidates)

• DEA & CSR: Required
