Locums Anesthesiologist

Facility is looking to add 3 full-time locums anesthesiologists to their team starting ASAP! The ideal candidate can cover full-time and can start in August 2025, but the client will accept 2 weeks per month availability.

Job Description

• We need the equivalent of 6 full-time locum physicians
• Job responsibilities: Evaluate/monitor patient care before and during surgery
• OB: Yes
• Peds: Yes, but mostly tonsils and adenoids
• Supervision: Some
• Group has 6 physicians and 2 CRNAs
• Number of exam rooms per provider: 13 OR Rooms
• Clinic provider daily volume: 30-50 cases for the whole department per day
• EMR: EPIC (May 2025)

Requirements

• Board Certified - Required (Not accepting BE)
• Active IA license or IMLC - Required (Must upload copy of LOQ at time of name clear)
• ACLS - Required (can obtain during credentialing)
• Availability (must be available for 2 weeks per month) - Required, note at time of name clear
• COVID Vaccine - Required
• Clean malpractice - Required

Schedule

• Start: August/September. Not considering candidates that can only start later in the year.
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend coverage is needed but it's not a set schedule. Weekends are call only (1st, 2nd, and 3rd call and 1st call gets called in 75% of the time)
• No clinic
• Night call: 7 days per week, every 3-4 days
