GI Clinic APP

Join our team as a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in the GI clinic. This position involves a mix of procedures in the GI lab and patient care in the clinic.

Job Description

• Must have an Illinois license.
• Monday to Friday clinic schedule.
• Providers are expected to cover overnight weekday call while on-site.
• Must have a minimum of 2 weeks a month of availability.
• Responsibilities include performing EDGs and in-house consults for stable GI issues, primarily focusing on colonoscopies.
• Spend 4 days in the GI lab performing procedures and 1 day in the clinic seeing patients, with each day consisting of 8-9 hours.
• The lab typically schedules 12-13 procedures on lab days and around 20 patients in the clinic.
• Inpatient rounding is required each day as needed, with a manageable volume due to the hospital's size (49 beds).
• Full-time positions are available, but a minimum of 2 weeks per month (10 days) is required.
