Hematology & Oncology Locums
Hospital is in search of a locums to support the employed physicians with additional support and to provide additional services.
We are looking for a provider to start in September/October with continued support into 2026. We are seeking someone who can provide at least one week per month and would accept more if available.
Job Description
- Shifts available: Orientation, 8-Hr Day Shift
- Setting: Clinic patient care with no call
- Would consider locums for 3-5 shifts per week, every other week
- Privileges available: Full privileges
- All compliance and privileging will be due to Baptist 30 days prior to a start date to be approved by the Board
Requirements
- Credentials Accepted: Physician (MD/DO)
- Board level: BC Hematology
- Hematology Fellowship
- Medical Onc Board with Hematology is preferred but not required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA Certificate
- Workload: Primarily hematology patients
- Skills/Procedures: Hematology and blood disorders
Additional Notes
- The locums will see hematology patients with only a small possibility of seeing oncology patients. This is because the existing oncology providers will remain providing care to those patients directly.
- Hematology board required, with a hematology fellowship would be most successful.
- Double board with oncology is preferred but not required.
