Oncology - Radiation Physician

Outpatient Radiation Oncology Physicist

Hospital is looking for an Outpatient Radiation Oncology Physicist. Coverage is needed to start ASAP.

Job Description

• Schedule requested: day shift 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. The individual would have to be on site every Tuesday, and depending on QA, maybe another day. All other days would be remote.
• Average number of patients per day: 15
• Documentation system/EMR: Aria
• Type of linear accelerator: Varian TruBeam
• Position: Solo support for hospital operation but will get peripheral support from Flint
• Treatment planning: Dosimetry will plan and physics will need to perform typical physics reviews
• Treatment planning system: Eclipse
• Patient specific QA: Portal dosimetry; therapists will typically run the plans and physics will need to analyze
• Additional skills needed: Working knowledge of IMRT, SRS, and ability to perform machine and patient QA. QA work required. Should be familiar with IMRT, SBRT, SRS.

• Board requirements: ABR, CCPM
• Provider must be local; only mileage is reimbursed.
