Hospital is looking for Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioners. This position requires immediate coverage.

Job Description

• Hospital needs the coverage ASAP
• NM licenses are preferred as of now
• Accept multiple providers
• Dates needed for coverage - ASAP
• Schedule hours for clinic/hospital - 8 am to 5 pm
• Schedule days clinic/hospital - Approximately 5, full-time coverage needed
• Call night/weekend - varies, flexible
• Number of phone consults - varies
• Days for call - 10 days/month
• Call starts - 7 am to 7 pm for the hospital, 7 pm to 7 am for the department only
• Support staff is available - 2 PRN PMH-NPs
• Age of patients - Adult 18 to 65 on the unit; consults vary in the hospital
• Inpatient/outpatient - Inpatient only
• Rounding - Yes
• Average number of admissions per shift - 2 to 3
• Type of charting/EMR - Meditech
• Board certified or board eligible - Board certified
• Credentialing time - 60 to 90 days (average; less for locums)
• Temp privileges are granted
