General and Trauma Surgeon

Join our team as a General and Trauma Surgeon at a very busy level 3 trauma center with an average of 60,000 annual ER visits. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on trauma, acute surgical cases, and hospital follow-up.

Job Description

• Start date: ASAP
• End date: Ongoing
• Coverage type: Scheduled clinic hours + call
• Rotate 12-hour shifts for the most part with some 24-hour shifts sprinkled in on the weekend
• Provider will be needed for 15 days per month for both call and inpatient rounding for trauma, acute surgical cases, and hospital follow-up
• Day shifts - 10 hour shifts; night shifts - 14 hours
• Support: 2 nurse practitioners
• Open to locum to perm

Requirements

• A completed Covid vaccination card is now a required bid document to bid your provider and for your provider to be considered to work locums
• Additional licensure: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
