Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Join our team as a Cardiac Anesthesiologist, providing essential coverage during a short transition between anesthesiology groups. This position requires cardiovascular anesthesia coverage on an interim basis.

Job Description

• Coverage type: Scheduled clinic hours and call
• Practice setting: Inpatient
• Admissions required: Inpatient
• Provider needs to be board-certified or board-eligible
• Temp privileges available
• Average patients seen per day: 1 to 4
• Call details: Primary on call for CV anesthesia, backup for general anesthesia
• Average call number per 24 hours: 1 to 4 phone consults, patients seen, admissions
• EMR system in clinic and hospital: Cerner
• Anesthesia for CV cases and general anesthesia

Requirements

• Certifications required: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Minimum board certification: BC

Additional Information

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: Our medical staff will work to credential as quickly as possible
• Trauma level of facility: Not trauma designated
• Preferred airport: OAK, SFO, or SJC (OAK is the closest)
