Gastroenterology Locum

Join our team for a weekend call only locum position in San Antonio, TX. This opportunity spans the next six months, with coverage beginning at 5 PM on Friday and concluding at 7 AM on Monday.

Job Description

• Provide coverage for urgent and emergent GI procedures as needed
• Address unassigned ER and inpatient needs
• Handoff from the Monday to Friday provider on Friday evening for continuity of care
• Report and debrief to the weekday provider on Monday morning

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
• Texas licensed
• Fellowship required
• ACLS and BLS certification
• NPDB evaluation

Estimated Timeframe

• Position is expected to start in December/January and complete by May/June 2023.
