OB Laborist

Join our team as an OB Laborist providing call coverage. This position requires availability for specific dates and offers a supportive environment with low patient volume.

Job Description

• Coverage needed for October 7, 8, 9; October 21, 22, 23; and October 27 - November 3rd (Friday 7am through Monday 7am).
• One provider needed for low volume coverage with two OBs in town covering their patients.
• Call schedule is rare, with a 1:3 weekday and 1:3 weekend rotation.
• Average number of deliveries is approximately 0.8 per month, with an average of 0.8 procedures.
• Deliveries include c-sections, and hospital credentialing is required.
• Support staff includes hospitalists and RNs.
• EMR/Documentation is managed through Medhost.

Requirements

• Board certification is preferred.
• Must be able to perform deliveries and surgeries.
• High-risk patient protocol is in place.
• Anesthesia is administered by anesthesia support staff.
