Ear, Nose and Throat - Otolaryngology

Join our team at Lovelace Medical Group for an exciting opportunity in Ear, Nose and Throat - Otolaryngology. This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care with no call responsibilities.

Job Description

• Provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Manage a patient census of 20-22 patients per day in the clinic
• Perform approximately 25 surgeries per month
• Conduct general otolaryngology procedures, including endoscopic procedures such as septal and sinus surgeries, bronchoscopy, laryngoscopy, and more
• Collaborate with a support staff that includes 2 PAs, RNs, MAs, and 2 other MDs

Requirements

• Must be board certified in Otolaryngology
• Must have a New Mexico medical license
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• Willing to consider non-licensed or IMLC providers: No

Additional Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• EMR System: Epic
• Credentialing timeline: 90 plus days
• No trauma call required
• Preferred procedures include thyroidectomy and tonsillectomy; complex head and neck procedures are also part of the practice
