Orthopaedic Surgeon

Join our reputable practice as a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon providing call coverage in our ASC verified Level III Trauma Facility. This position is set to start on February 27 and will continue throughout 2023.

Job Description

• Provide call coverage for the Emergency Department on a rotating basis, coming in only when requested for a consult.
• Handle typical cases including fractures, sports injuries, and general orthopaedics, with a focus on Total Joints.
• Work in an efficient, flexible operating room with block time assignments.
• Collaborate with General Surgeons who manage the wound care clinic and work alongside Orthopaedic Physician Assistants and a full surgical staff.
• Utilize a completely digital radiology department.

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Skilled in Total Joints and general orthopaedics.

Assignment Details

• Types of cases include fractures, sports injuries, and general orthopaedics; no spine cases.
• The number of patients per shift varies.
• EMR System: Athena & Med.
