Vascular Surgery

Join our team as a Vascular Surgeon, providing essential care in a 216-bed facility. This position involves call coverage and offers a dynamic work environment.

Job Description

• Provide call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM the next day.
• Manage 2 to 3 patients per day with rounding on 5 to 6 patients.
• Handle 8-10 calls per week, including both assigned and unassigned patients.
• Perform surgeries such as aneurysm repair, stenting, angioplasty, and thrombolysis.
• Consult on average 8-10 calls per 24 hours, with 0-2 callbacks during a shift.
• Work with support staff including RNs and MAs.

Requirements

• Board certification in Vascular Surgery is preferred.
• Certifications required: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS.
• Familiarity with the Cerner EMR system.

Additional Information

• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 15 days.
• No supervision of advanced practice providers or residents is required.
