    Primary Care Physician (Bilingual Chinese/New Graduates Welcome)

    A growing primary care practice in Parkville, Maryland, is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician who is fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese). The physician will provide compassionate, comprehensive outpatient care to a diverse patient population, with a focus on serving the local Chinese-speaking community.

    Job Description

    • Deliver comprehensive outpatient internal medicine or family medicine services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness evaluation.
    • Perform thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
    • Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and allied healthcare providers to ensure optimal outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
    • Provide culturally competent care, ensuring effective communication with Chinese-speaking patients and families.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical meetings, and continuing education programs.

    Requirements

    • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
    • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
    • Maryland medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
    • Fluency in Chinese - Mandarin or Cantonese (spoken required; written preferred).
    • Experience in outpatient or community primary care settings preferred.
    • Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks).
    • Commitment to serving multilingual and multicultural patient populations.
