Family Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant

Join our team as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Buffalo Center, IA / Fairmont, MN. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities in a medical center setting.

Job Description

• Conduct thorough medical histories, perform complete physical examinations (where indicated), initiate appropriate lab, radiology tests, or other specialized tests required for evaluation of illness, and scrutinize lab data on new and former clinic patients to establish a record of the patient's current health status and to develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Provide primary care services on the days and at times established and scheduled by the Center for Specialty Care.
• Must be able to work with collaborating physicians when applicable.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus OR a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in family medicine, primary care, or a similar clinical setting.
• Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in IA / MN.
• Board certification as an FNP by the ANCC or AANP, or as a PA-C by the NCCPA.
