Job Description

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and screenings to assess oral health
• Remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth
• Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized homecare instructions
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Assist the dentist during procedures as required
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Monitor and manage hygiene supplies and equipment

Requirements

• Valid NY licensure as a Dental Hygienist
• CPR certification
• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, products, and equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a dental practice
• Proficiency in dental software and digital imaging systems
• Continuing education in dental hygiene
• Spanish fluency
