Family Medicine / Emergency Medicine Physician

Growing urgent care within 30-40 minutes of Chicago is looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team outside of Merrillville, IN. Job Description

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• All life supports required
• Clinic hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• No call expectation
• Average outpatient volume: 3 to 4 patients per hour, depending on the season
• On-site equipment includes EKG, POC testing, hospital radiation department, and CT department
• Common diagnoses include abdominal pain, flu, musculoskeletal pain/injury, shortness of breath, upper respiratory infection, and urinary tract infection
