Travel Dental Hygienist

Join our team as a Travel Dental Hygienist for the Indian Health Facility in Fort Yates, ND. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on providing quality dental care to a diverse patient population.

Job Description

• Coverage is needed as soon as onboarding is complete (typically takes 3-4 weeks to process after background forms are submitted) for a minimum commitment of 3 months.
• Schedule: Fort Yates, ND: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM; if needed, McLaughlin, SD: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
• Patient volume: 5-6 patients per day on average.
• Patient ages: all ages (majority adults).
• Support staff available: Dentists and Dental Assistants.
• Type of charting: EMR - RPMS (Dentrix).

Requirements

• BLS certification.
• Active license with no restrictions.
• Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) only.

Additional Information

• Any state license is acceptable.
• Will perform Scaling and Root Planing (SRP) if required per patient treatment plans.
• Not required to administer local anesthesia but can if their license allows.
• All continuing education courses required for maintaining certification must be kept up to date at all times.
