Medical Assistant - Surgical

Job Description

• Performing patient interviews to collect health history and maintaining patient health records
• Assisting with medical procedures and examinations, including skin biopsies, surgeries, laser treatments, etc.
• Medical scribing for our healthcare providers during medical examinations and procedures in electronic health records
• Performing clinical tasks, such as performing wound checks, dressing changes, and suture removals
• Surgical experience highly preferred
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• 2+ years of experience working in a specialty practice
• 2+ years of experience working in a doctor's office setting
• EMR experience
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Nationally Certified as a Medical Assistant is preferred
