Job Description

• Oversee, train, and manage surgical schedulers
• Schedule procedures for various hospitals and surgery sites
• Review schedule for no-shows
• Ensure patients' surgical packets are correct and complete
• Float to other office sites if needed
• Ensure accuracy of the surgical schedule
• Schedule and post procedures for various hospital sites
• Review schedules for cancellations and no-show appointments

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a surgical scheduler in a busy surgical practice site
• 3 recent years of experience leading, training, and managing surgical schedulers
• Experience scheduling for hospital and surgery sites
• Must have surgical scheduling experience; ophthalmology experience preferred
• Triaging phone calls
• Providing patient education and reviewing upcoming procedures with patients
• Ensure accuracy of surgical scheduler
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree
