Job Description
- Assess a patient's conditions and provide initial treatment to the level of their scope of practice.
- Assist healthcare professionals by monitoring vital signs, providing care, and performing skills to their scope of practice.
- Relay important medical information about patients to medical staff in the pre-hospital setting and upon arrival to the Emergency Department.
- Chart assessments and treatments in the appropriate patient care records.
- Adhere to standards of ethics recognized by the Office of Emergency Medical Services.
Requirements
- Current or eligible Wyoming Paramedic license required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and PHTLS Healthcare Provider within three months of hire.
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines.
- Must meet current facility age requirement to drive a specially equipped emergency vehicle to specific locations.
- Current Wyoming Driver's License.
