Physical Therapist

Currently looking for an experienced Physical Therapist to fill an opening in a hospital near King City, CA. Interested candidates should have at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy with a passion to work in an inpatient setting and provide great 1:1 patient care. Interested candidates must have or already applied to obtain their Physical Therapist License in California.

Job Description

• Performs and documents initial evaluation and ongoing assessments of patient's condition, adapting treatment plans accordingly
• Develops and implements an individualized plan of care to meet required frequency of visits, which includes patient/family involvement
• Communicates patient progress with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team
• Educates patients and families on the proposed treatment plan and progress, including skilled recommendations on adaptive equipment/durable medical equipment and community support where available and when appropriate
• Supervises activities of assistants, students, and support personnel as needed
• Plans and/or assists in patient discharge
• Ability to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time, and lift/assist patients as needed

Requirements

• Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active California PT license, or eligible to obtain one
• Passionate about working in an inpatient setting
