Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with blood disorders and cancers, including lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, and solid tumors.
• Diagnose and treat patients with hematologic conditions (e.g., anemia, clotting disorders, leukemia) and cancers (e.g., lymphoma, breast, lung, and colon cancer).
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and stem cell transplants.
• Administer chemotherapy and other intravenous treatments, managing side effects and ensuring patient comfort.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on test results, imaging, and response to therapy.
• Provide patient education on treatment options, side effects, and supportive care, ensuring that patients and their families understand their diagnosis and care plans.
• Interpret lab results (e.g., CBC, bone marrow biopsy) and imaging studies (e.g., CT, PET scans) to develop accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with other specialists, including surgeons, radiologists, and medical oncologists, to provide coordinated care.
• Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case discussions to assess complex cases and provide recommendations for treatment.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and document all patient interactions in compliance with medical and legal standards.
