Emergency Medicine Physician

We have a locum Emergency Medicine opportunity not far from Elizabeth City, NC. This position is at a 25-bed critical access hospital with a 7-bed ER.

Job Description

• Provide emergency medical care in a 7-bed ER with an annual volume of 15K visits.
• Work 12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM or 8 PM to 8 AM.
• Serve a population of 110K people across 6 counties.
• Hospital offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, specialty care clinic, and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities.

Requirements

• Active NC license
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or General Surgery with recent ER experience)
• DEA certification
• ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Shifts Needed

• Days: January 7, 10, 15, 18, 19, 20, 27, 28 (8 AM to 8 PM)
• Nights: January 14 (8 PM to 8 AM)
