Infectious Disease Locums Physician

Randstad Healthcare has partnered with a facility in Salem, MA, seeking a full-time Infectious Disease locums physician. This position is located approximately 15 miles north of Boston and is within a 289-bed facility.

Job Description

• Need for maternity leave coverage; mid/late January start date for approximately 3 months
• Full-time coverage: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
• One weekend per month of call coverage required
• No teaching of residents
• Will work with 2 other Infectious Disease physicians
• 100% inpatient work
• On average, for inpatient, the number of new consults per day is 3-4
• Number of follow-ups per day is 6-7
• No procedures required
• EPIC is the EMR (training will be provided at a reduced hourly rate)
• At least 60 days for hospital credentialing

Requirements

• MA active license
• Active DEA
• Board Certified in Infectious Disease only

Benefits

• Pay rates: $155 per hour
• Would prefer someone local or semi-local but will do full travel for the right candidate
