Job Description

• Perform assigned duties of resident care, activities of daily living, and related tasks under the direct supervision of a nurse and the nurse manager.
• Promote maximum independence and comfort for each resident by providing individualized care in collaboration with co-workers, residents, and families.
• Support and promote resident strengths and abilities, capacity for social contribution, unique values, preferences, living habits, and autonomy of choice.

Requirements

• Successful completion of the nurse aide course as certified by the state of PA.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be flexible with scheduling.
• Must be able to read, write, and take verbal direction.
• Be willing to be a change agent.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to residents' emotional, social, mental health, and spiritual needs.
• Previous experience in a rehab setting preferred.
