Renown Health is the largest not-for-profit integrated health system with the University of Nevada Reno, School of Medicine, and is seeking a Movement Disorder specialist.

The incumbent must have completed a 4-year neurology residency and a minimum of 1 year of movement disorder fellowship.

The Movement Disorder Neurologist will help further the Movement Disorder program by accurately diagnosing movement disorders and developing comprehensive management plans, incorporating various therapeutic options including medications, injections, and deep brain stimulation.

Renown's physicians foster the teaching of residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Physicians also have access to an established research department which provides support to coordinate clinical trials or take the opportunity to conduct research on the university campus.

Renown Regional houses The Institute of Neurosciences and is a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and NAEC Level III accredited Epilepsy Center.

Job Description

• Outpatient schedule Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM; 4/10 schedule option available
• Participate in clinical research trials and translational research with the UNR Graduate School of Neuroscience's Integrative Neuroscience Institute
