    Nurse Practitioner Vascular Surgery

    Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit locally governed healthcare network, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Vascular Surgery. The incumbent will join the Surgery team in our physician-led medical group.

    Minimum of 2 years NP experience and First Assist Certification is required.

    Renown's providers foster the teaching of residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Providers also have access to an established Research Department which provides support to coordinate clinical trials or take the opportunity to conduct research on the university campus.

    The Vascular NP will provide First Assistance on all surgeries, evaluate, consult, and round in the hospital as well as see patients in the Outpatient Clinic for post-operative follow-up.

    Job Description

    • Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm
    • First Assist on all surgeries; must be First Assist certified
    • Daily rounds in the hospital
    • Outpatient Clinic seeing new consults and post-op follow-up appointments
    • 1:4 call shared with other APPs
    • Epic EMR
