Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO)

Join our dedicated, patient-centered Urgent Care team in Centereach, NY! We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Full-Time Physician (MD/DO) who is passionate about delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans following best practices and patient preferences
• Provide care to a variety of patients, including pediatric patients (4 months+), occupational medicine cases, medical clearances, and acute illnesses/injuries
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with facility policies
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans based on patient assessments
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, EKGs, and other relevant studies
• Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active NY state medical license & DEA certification
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
• Excellent communication & patient care skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Comfortable treating pediatric patients (4 months & older)

Facility Hours of Operation

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Saturday, Sunday & Holidays: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Open 7 Days a Week
