    Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON/ADNS)

    Looking for an experienced, motivated, and "can do" Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON/ADNS) for our Newton location. As the ADON/ADNS, you are the second in command of the nursing department. You will work closely with the DON/DNS to improve the quality of patient care and services provided by your team in our 45 bed skilled nursing facility or Memory Care Unit. In their absence, you will oversee the entire team, ensuring quality customer service and compliance with all federal, state, and local rules and regulations, as well as the policies and procedures set by your employer.

    Requirements

    • Must have a current unencumbered Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state
    • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in long term care
    • Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Joint Commission guidelines required
    • Must be computer literate; knowledge of EMR required
