    Transplant Hepatologist

    A large integrated academic health system in Michigan is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Transplant Hepatologist to join their established and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to partner with an experienced transplant hepatologist within a dynamic and collegial group of 19 physicians and 11 advanced practice providers dedicated to providing comprehensive gastroenterology care.

    Job Description

    • High-volume gastroenterology practice with a broad range of services.
    • Hybrid role: Mix of 85% outpatient and 15% inpatient work - IP coverage is 1:7 weeks.
    • Transplant responsibilities: Pre- and post-liver transplant patient care and participation in weekly Transplant Selection Meetings.
    • Multidisciplinary support from the Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Interventional Endoscopy programs.
    • Collaborative, team-based approach with access to other subspecialists.
    • Opportunity to train and mentor residents and students.
    • Potential to contribute to the development of a future fellowship program.
