Physician Assistant

Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The position will include two days in the OR and three days in the clinic. The Physician Assistant will support a Spine Joints Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon that has a very busy practice. This doctor's focus is spine with some general cases. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre and post-H&P's, injections (hip bursa, etc.), consultation, and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified/Eligible. The doctor will train a recent graduate with an orthopedic rotation.

Job Description

• Provide first assist in the OR
• Run a clinic and perform patient evaluations and education
• Conduct pre and post-history and physicals
• Perform injections (hip bursa, etc.)
• Consult with patients and review lab results in both clinic and hospital settings
