Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Health Care System seeks to add another full-time experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant.

Job Description

• This position will include both the OR and the clinic.
• The newly hired Physician Assistant will work directly with a Fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon both in the OR and the clinic.
• The position will have a focus on total joints.
• This PA will run their own orthopedic clinic (new and follow-up patients) and will refer to surgeons for consults.
• Responsibilities include: first assisting, evaluating and treating orthopedic injuries, fracture care (casting, splinting, joint aspirations and injections), post and pre-operative care, hospital rounds, writing prescriptions, and managing records. There is no ER call.
• Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified, highly motivated, and have a positive personality.
• The group desires an experienced Orthopedic PA only.

• NCCPA-Certified
• Experience as an Orthopedic PA
