Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Well-established Total Joints Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon seeks to add another Orthopedic Physician Assistant to the team. This position is a combination of the clinic and the OR. The group has a state-of-the-art facility with EMR, MRI, PT, Digital X-ray, and ASC. The Physician Assistant would run their own orthopedic clinic with a very busy case load of total hips and knees, including complex revisions.

Job Description

• Conduct history and physical examinations, patient evaluation and education
• First assist in surgeries, review lab results, write prescriptions
• Treat basic fractures, perform joint injections and aspirations
• Hospital rounds and some call (paid extra) within a clinic and hospital setting

Requirements

• Physician Assistants must have some orthopedic experience
