    Orthopedic Physician Assistant

    Health Care System, which includes a team of fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons, seeks to add a full-time orthopedic physician assistant to directly work with a total joints fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon. The position includes both the OR and the clinic. This is a very busy total joints practice. The doctor utilizes the most minimally invasive procedures and advanced technology for hip and knee replacements and revisions.

    Job Description

    • First assist in surgeries
    • Running clinics
    • Conducting pre- and post-operative history and physicals
    • Performing joint injections
    • Writing prescriptions
    • Removing casts and pins
    • Consultation and patient evaluation and education
    • Reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting

    The position offers great quality of life (no call, no evenings, and no weekends).

    Requirements

    • NCCPA-Certified
    • Some orthopedic experience
