Physician Assistant

Health Care System seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to their orthopedic sports team. The Physician Assistant will work directly with a top Sports Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. The position will be a split between lower Westchester and uptown in Manhattan. They have a very busy practice that includes shoulders, elbows, and knee cases. The doctor serves as the sports doctor for Division I College. The Physician Assistant will work both in the clinic and OR and will run their own orthopedic clinic. The position is Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) with no call or weekends.

Job Description

• Patient evaluations
• Injections
• Removing casts and pins
• Reductions
• Consultation
• Rounds and patient evaluation and education
• Writing prescriptions and reviewing lab results

Requirements

• PANCE certification
• NY license
• If a new graduate, must have an orthopedic rotation
• Prefer candidates from the NYC region
