Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Total Joint Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant to the team. This position includes both the clinic and OR. This is a well-established and busy practice. This doctor has a focus on hip and knee joint replacements and some general cases. The Physician Assistant will run an orthopedic clinic parallel to the physician. The group has a state-of-the-art facility which includes PT/OT, EMR, and newer OR suites.

Job Description

• Run orthopedic clinic
• First assist
• Joint aspiration and injections
• Pre-op and post-op H&P's
• Hospital rounding
• Write scripts
• Coordinate with Physical Therapist
• Ordering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT scan, and MRI
• Casting and splinting

Requirements

• The location is 15 minutes to Grants Pass, Oregon. This doctor will train a recent graduate with an orthopedic rotation.
