Physician Assistant

Specialty Group of General Surgeons seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. This Physician Assistant will support a very busy Board Certified General Surgeon in both the OR and the clinic. Responsibilities include: first assist, pre- and post-operative history and physicals, writing prescriptions, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. They are located in a state-of-the-art facility. The position is a four-and-a-half-day work week, which provides a great work/life balance and no ER or trauma call.

Job Description

• Support a busy Board Certified General Surgeon in both the OR and the clinic
• First assist in surgeries
• Conduct pre- and post-operative history and physicals
• Write prescriptions
• Perform consultations and patient evaluations and education
• Review lab results in both clinic and hospital settings

Requirements

• NCCPA-Certified or Eligible (the Doctor will train the right candidate)
