Hospitalist Physician

Job Title

Join our dynamic team at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, AZ. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a critical access hospital with a supportive environment.

Job Description

• Work 7-hour shifts per month with an average daily census of 22 patients.
• Participate in a 2-doctor model, collaborating during the day and taking call every other night.
• Respond to all codes as the 24-hour physician.
• Manage a mix of observation and acute patients, with up to 37 patients at a time.
• Handle many transfers from San Carlos, AZ, received as direct admissions via hospital agreement.
• Utilize 4 ICU beds as needed.

Requirements

• Lodging available on-site; other travel arrangements are handled by the physician.

Compensation

• Daily rate plus collections.
• Physicians providing 10 or more shifts in a calendar month will receive an additional $100 per day.
• Physicians providing 10 or more shifts per calendar month for 3 consecutive months will receive an additional $3,000 bonus.
