About the job
Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group is a physician-led and accountable 600+ provider multispecialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join a robust clinic-based practice and work full-time at its International Clinic, as part of the Center for Global Health & Healing program. The International Clinic provides a special focus on the medical needs of families and individuals who have resettled in our community as refugees. The clinic strives to provide respectful, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and equitable care for all families in the Treasure Valley.
The clinic serves a diverse group of patients who have come from around the globe. It utilizes several programs to help reduce current barriers to care, such as home visits, partnerships with the Saint Alphonsus Infant/Maternal CARE Clinic, Saint Alphonsus Community Interpreter services, and numerous other community agencies. Our providers are passionate about refugee care and are committed to increasing the quality and access to medical services for these vulnerable patient populations. As part of serving our community's newly arriving families, the clinic provides an integrative model of care to address barriers to accessing equitable healthcare. This includes providers working closely with interpreters, social workers, health advisors, and resettlement agencies to increase continuity among these patient populations.
The International Clinic is conveniently located near Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, in a recently remodeled facility. Other services at this practice location include Ob-Gyn and Travel Medicine care.
