Interventional Radiologist

Join our dynamic team as an Interventional Radiologist at Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG), a 650-provider multispecialty group practice in Boise, Idaho. This position offers a traditional work week plus call and hospital responsibilities, including evenings and weekends.

Job Description

• Work with other Interventional Radiologists and Radiology Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to provide care for patients with complex conditions by incorporating advanced imaging modalities with minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat a wide variety of diseases.
• Perform procedures including embolization, thrombectomy, venous access, TIPS, aortic dissection, peripheral arterial disease, biopsies, ablations, stent placements, and others based on training and community need.
• Share call equally with members of the Interventional Radiology Department.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA residency program in Radiology.
• Successful completion of an accredited Fellowship in Interventional Radiology.
• Obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC-Boise and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed.
• Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
