Physician Hospitalist Nocturnist
We are seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician Nocturnist for a 7on7off schedule to join our team. Saint Peter's University Hospital is a non-profit, 478-bed acute care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. Saint Peter's brings the latest medical practices and highly skilled professionals to the bedside. We employ more than 3,600 healthcare professionals and support personnel, and more than 1,000 doctors and dentists are on staff at our hospital. We treat more than 23,000 inpatients and more than 245,000 outpatients yearly.
Job Description
- Full-time opportunity with a 12-hour shift from 7pm to 7am
- Admission, follow-up care, discharges from observation, collaboration with APNs
- Closed ICU model, no procedures required; LTACH provides support with codes and pronouncements
- Supportive leadership and administration allowing for transparency and the open exchange of ideas
Requirements
- A medical degree and the successful completion of ACGME or AOA residency
- MD or DO license in the State of New Jersey
- Board certification or eligibility from the appropriate specialty or subspecialty board
- CDS and DEA license required
- Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital liability insurance
Compensation Information
Full-time clinical base compensation at Saint Peter's Healthcare System ranges from $125,000.00 to $750,000.00 annually, which is impacted by various factors including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
