    Job Description

    • Provide comprehensive care for patients requiring hip and knee reconstruction, including inpatient consultations, surgical procedures, and outpatient clinic visits.
    • Specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of degenerative joint conditions and musculoskeletal disorders impacting mobility and function.
    • Perform a full spectrum of surgical procedures related to total joint replacement, including primary and revision arthroplasty.
    • Offer and manage appropriate non-operative treatment options when indicated.
    • Develop individualized rehabilitation plans and counsel patients on lifestyle modifications to support recovery and optimize outcomes.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care across the continuum.
    • Emphasize accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and clear communication with patients and families.
    • Demonstrate stewardship of institutional resources and contribute to the delivery of high-value, sustainable healthcare.
    • This role is focused specifically on adult reconstruction of the hip and knee, with opportunities for continued growth and collaboration in a supportive environment.

    Requirements

    • Degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine at an American Committee of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) accredited institution.
    • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency.
    • Successful completion of an ACGME accredited Adult Reconstruction fellowship.
    • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Oregon.
    • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or The American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
