Otolaryngologist
This north Florida health system is seeking an experienced and board-certified otolaryngologist for our growing program.
Job Description
- Must be comfortable with traumatic ear, nose, and throat procedures, including but not limited to:
- Repair to external ears
- Assisting in complex facial trauma with ophthalmologists, neurosurgeons, and/or plastic surgeons
- Laryngotracheal injuries
- Adult only in the hospital setting
- Board eligibility or board certification required
- Preferred candidates will have relevant experience
- The incoming provider will focus mainly on trauma and emergent/acute ear, nose, and throat procedures:
- Hospital-based
- Managing inpatient consults
- Rounding on patients
- Manage follow-up clinic
- Share the month with another dedicated otolaryngologist in an on/off schedule
- The hospital's trauma program is the area's only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center servicing 5 counties and over 1 million residents. It is also a teaching hospital for the University of Central Florida and hosts the UCF residency consortium.
