We are looking for a Board-Certified physician with previous supervisory experience to come on board as our Regional Medical Director (RMD). The RMD assists the Chief of Medicine in implementing and overseeing medical staff policies and activities such as scheduling, medical staff relations, and communications by performing the following duties. 30% of time is allocated to administrative duties for this position; the remaining 70% of time is allocated to direct patient care. Occasional travel is required.

Job Description

• Assist the Chief of Medicine in implementing and overseeing medical staff policies and activities
• Allocate 30% of time to administrative duties and 70% to direct patient care
• Perform occasional travel as required

Requirements

• Must possess a Medical Board license MD/DO/RNP (State specific) in Internal/Family Medicine/Adult Gerontology/Infectious Disease
• Valid DEA & Furnishing license
• Previous experience in treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS clients in an outpatient primary care setting
• Must obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire
• Current CPR/BLS (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) is required
