As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic Medical Director to lead our clinical operations in Plantation, Florida. Job Description

• Oversee all medical care and quality of services provided within the center.
• Ensure high standards of care, mentoring clinicians, supporting provider recruitment and retention, and maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Provide direct patient care within an outpatient setting.
• Lead all aspects of clinical care delivery, quality management, and patient safety.
• Develop, review, and implement medical policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
• Supervise and evaluate physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
• Ensure completion of HEDIS and quality metrics, appropriate risk adjustment coding, and care coordination.
• Oversee performance improvement initiatives and participate in peer review processes.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of medical providers.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, ACHA, infection control, and emergency preparedness standards.
• Handle complex patient issues, provider performance matters, and quality improvement action plans.
• Lead or participate in clinical governance committees, including Quality and Adverse Events.
• Provide direct primary care to patients as part of a manageable clinical load.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in primary care (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine).
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience as a Medical Director or equivalent role.
• Experience with multicultural populations and value-based care strongly preferred.

Licensure & Certification

• Active and unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Current DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
